The food was delicious and they were getting busy pretty quickly even in an off season. Very near and clean. Our server was wonderful, very attentive, and overall service was very good, other than a minor issue with a couple of ingredients missing off my spouse's sandwich, but it was addressed and taken care of immediately. Best she-crab soup I've had, and my fish and chips entree was perfection, though not in a typical presentation. The batter was so good. Chicken tenders were delicious too!

Very nice woman owned restaurant with a Caribbean flair. Reasonable prices for OBX & tasty. Check it out when you are out at the Outer Banks.

We stumbled across this gem looking for dinner. A local recommended it. Sitting on top of the arcade who would fathom the fine dining inside? All staff was informative and attentive. Lamb chops, she crab soup, chicken wings, cheeseburgers...broocollini.... churros!!!! Do yourself a favor go dine at The Broken Plate Kitchen! The ambience was unmatched and perfect for our friends anniversary dinner. Thanks to the owners for providing delicious food through talented chefs and excellent service delivered by hand selected dedicated employees.

Absolutely love this restaurant. Came here from google reviews. I saw the restraint several times while being out and about it didn’t look like much. Took my wife out for a nice Birthday dinner. The place was beautiful coming in. And the tables were well set. Staff was great! The atmosphere here is very elegant and nice. Definitely recommend to anyone going to Corolla Nc.

Celebrated 2 birthdays at Broken Plate on 5/20. The waitstaff (specifically Jen) were very attentive and personable. The food was wonderful - calamari, duck wontons, she crab soup, and crab dip for appetizers. Shrimp and grits were cheesy, saucy with perfectly cooked large shrimp. Dirty martini and watermelon drink were both awesome. Thank you from this Massachusetts crew!

4/25/25 - It's a very nice place. Our server was great! I did feel the pricing is a little bit expensive. The food was great though. I got the soup of the day and the cranberry salad (don't remember the exact name). My husband got chicken tenders, fries, and Mac & Cheese. Our other friend got the kids menu chicken tenders and it's almost the same dish as the adult but it has one less tender. Our other friend got the t-bone steak, which he really enjoyed. Our other friend got the catch of the day, and he really enjoyed it too. The atmosphere is nice and fancy too. Would enjoy to come back.

We had the pleasure of dining here last week at the recommendation of someone we met. The decor and ambiance of this restaurant is different than any other on the beach and looks amazing, was perfect for an intimate date. To our surprise the same server we had the day before at another restaurant is who we had again, I believe her name was Zee, she did an excellent job. Her recommendation was spot on as the food or service did not disappoint. My wife had the sea scallops, I had the pork Chop and we shared the toffee cake for dessert and we were in food heaven. 10/10 will for sure be back on our trip later this year.
